昨年の秋、知り合いの整体師さんからカブトムシの幼虫４匹をもらいました。
それが蛹化しました！
オスの角が現れるのを見たときは驚きとちょっと感動がありました！！
実家が田舎ですから、私が小学生の頃は、山中に入り樹液のある木を探して、群がっているカブトムシやクワガタを採ったり、夜中に電灯が立っている所に行って、それを蹴り、落ちてくるカブトムシを拾っていたものです。
成虫を飼ったことはあるのですが、幼虫から育てたのは初めての経験です。
といっても、飼育するのに注意する点は、①マットに糞が目立ってきたらそれを交換すること、②適度に土を湿らせておくこと、③４月になったら幼虫がサナギになるための蛹室を作るので、それを壊さないようにマット交換は控えること、くらいで特に難しいものではありませんでした。
あと数週間で羽化して成虫になるようです。
すでに、100均ショップでケース、枝、蜜を買い揃えていますから、準備万端です。
息子が喜ぶと思って飼育し始めたのですが、私の方が夢中になっています 苦笑
