先週、不動産登記業務で金沢に行ってきました。
金沢は、10年近く前に大学時代の悪友の結婚式で訪れたことがあるので、２回目です。
兼六園や金沢城があり、情緒溢れ古都を思わせる雰囲気なので好きな街です。
飲食店やタクシー運転手の現地の人の話を聞いて、印象的だったことが２つ。
①今年は雪が積もったのは１日だけで、それもたった１㎝程度。
その方の100歳近くになるおばあさんに聞いても過去にこんな事はなかったとのこと。
②海外からの観光客は当然のことながら国内のお客さんも激減していて暇だと。
確かに平日とはいえ、街中や観光スポットは閑散としていました。
有効な薬やワクチンが開発されるまでコロナウィルスの影響はそう簡単には収まりそうにありませんから、健康維持をはかり、免疫力を高めていく必要がありますね。
前乗りだったので、旅行会社大手の㈱エイチ・アイ・エスが手掛ける「変なホテル金沢香林坊」に素泊まりしました。
