3/7 月曜日、鳥取県所在の土地建物に関する贈与登記業務の関係で鳥取市に行きました。
受贈者が宗教法人であり、山奥の寺院まで伺い、本人確認及び意思確認を行った後、法務局へ申請をする予定でしたので車で回ることにしました。
今まで行ったことのない法務局や裁判所に行くのは楽しみです。
「司法書士あるある」 だと思いますが、個人旅行でも旅先で地方の法務局や裁判所を見つけると少しテンションが上がります！
前から気になっていたのですが、通常、登記所って建物の２Ｆにあるんですよね。
鳥取地方法務局でも登記部門は２Ｆになっていました。
定かではありませんが、聞いたところによると、かつて登記簿は簿冊（ブックレット）形式で紙で保管管理されていたので、水害被害を回避するために２Ｆに設置されているとか。
現在、オンライン申請が積極的に導入されており、今後法務局に訪問する機会は徐々に減少するかもしれませんが、また機会があれば行ってみたいですね。
今回のスタッフへのお土産は「海鮮蟹おかき」！！(^^♪
